Metbods Our rescarch vl 107 patents (69 e ranging i g from 27-67 s 58 fele 3
ranging in age rom 32-62) iagnosec with chronc vial epatts B o type C, kool hepatits o 3
cimhois o the fiver, Serum o praeters such as erum eon e, TIEC, and smioteanserese ;
‘measured as necroinflammatory activity in Chronic hepatitis. i
Resul ￠ There was o cifference s-iron level between chroric hepatis and cirhosis but, i
significantly higher in alcoholic hepatitis and cirrhosis than viral hepatitis and cirrhosis respectively. i
-Ferrin level was sgnicanly igher in ciehoss tha hepatts group, s e bigher in kcoolc i
hepstitis adcarhosis than virl bepatitis and cibosisrespectivey. I cheaic hepatis groups. there 1
are significant corrlation between ALT and s-{eritin level regardness of etilogy. i
Conclsion Serum ron overload stte was pomient in lccbolc hepatits and cirhos than 1
viral hepatts and cirehosis. High serum ferritn lovl can predict hepatocye damage i chroric i
